Ammar Shahid, MD, is a fellowship-trained, board-certified family medicine physician with additional certification in sports medicine. He delivers comprehensive care focused on concussion management, injury prevention, and nonoperative orthopedic treatments, helping patients stay active and maintain healthy lifestyles.

As a sports medicine specialist, he works with physically active individuals of all ages to prevent injuries, improve performance, and enhance overall health. Originally from New Jersey, Dr. Shahid had the privilege of serving as team physician for Drexel University and Lincoln University, experiences that have deepened his commitment to athletic healthcare. Today, he continues to provide coverage as a team physician for Trinity High School.
