His practice is centered on a holistic approach to orthopaedic care, offering both surgical and non-surgical treatments for a variety of musculoskeletal conditions. Whether his patients are dealing with sports injuries, fractures, or degenerative joint diseases, he works closely with each patient to create a personalized treatment plan tailored to their goals and lifestyle. As a specialist in robotic-assisted surgery, Dr. Bonaddio performs a wide range of advanced procedures, including total and partial knee replacements as well as minimally invasive total hip replacements using the direct anterior approach. His mission is to provide the most effective, least invasive solutions that enable his patients to return to their active lifestyles as quickly and safely as possible. Dr. Bonaddio completed his undergraduate studies at Johns Hopkins University, where he was a two-time Academic All-American football player. He earned his Doctorate in Medicine from Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University, graduating *Magna Cum Laude.* Dr. Bonaddio then pursued his Orthopaedic Surgery residency here in Central Pennsylvania at Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center, where he was selected as a Resident Representative for the C. McCollister Evarts AOA Resident Leadership Forum and obtained the 2022 Lion Care Award. During his residency at a Level I trauma center, Dr. Bonaddio managed a variety of complex orthopedic cases, ranging from severe trauma to advanced joint pathologies. After residency, he completed the Otto E. Aufranc Fellowship in Adult Reconstructive Surgery at New England Baptist Hospital in Boston (Tufts and Harvard affiliated), where he received advanced training in hip and knee replacement surgery. During this time, he gained vast experience with complex revision procedures and honed his expertise in cutting-edge technology with minimally invasive techniques. As a lifelong athlete, Dr. Bonaddio understands the importance of staying active, and he is committed to helping his patients return to the activities they love.
