Dr. Scott King
Scott King, DO treats all general orthopaedic problems with particular interest in the study and treatment of athletic injuries in patients of all ages and levels of play. He is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon with a concentration in arthroscopic surgery of the hip, knee, shoulder and elbow, as well as shoulder and knee replacements.
Dr. King has treated members of the Boston Red Sox, the Pawtucket Red Sox (AAA), the Italian national soccer team, the Premier League (soccer), Division I, II, and III collegiate teams in all sports, as well as multiple high school teams.

I started seeing Dr King earlier this year after a fluke injury at the gym that involved a badly torn pectoral tendon. I was referred to him after an MRI confirmed the need for surgery.He thoroughly explained my MRI, what I would be facing after surgery, and what would happen if I did nothing. Time was important so he and his team got me squared away and ready for surgery as soon as possible.Surgery went without a hitch, and they had me quickly in and out and on the way to recovery. His team followed up the first week at home and made sure I was recovering OK .Fast forward to 2 months post-op, and he was very pleased with how well I have healed and my ROM. My chest and shoulder are almost back to normal and pain is very minimal. Things went as well as possible thanks to Dr King and his team.I highly recommend him to anyone with orthopedic issues or facing surgery. He is very kind and did a great job getting me back to normal.
