Dr. Scott King
Scott King, DO treats all general orthopaedic problems with particular interest in the study and treatment of athletic injuries in patients of all ages and levels of play. He is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon with a concentration in arthroscopic surgery of the hip, knee, shoulder and elbow, as well as shoulder and knee replacements.
Dr. King has treated members of the Boston Red Sox, the Pawtucket Red Sox (AAA), the Italian national soccer team, the Premier League (soccer), Division I, II, and III collegiate teams in all sports, as well as multiple high school teams.

Doctor King replaced my left knee. He explained everything in detail as to the procedure, recovery and was very honest about the difficulties of physical therapy. In November of 2015 he also repaired a severe meniscus tear in my right knee which was very successful as well.

I had a great experience with Dr. King, I felt that I could trust him and the confidence he has in himself. He well informed me on all I could expect with my knee replacement. Should I need the other knee replaced, I would request Dr. King.

I was referred to Dr. King by a friend at church. I had an ankle torn tendon injury which had been misdiagnosed by the ankle specialist at OIP. I met with Dr. King, bringing my MRI and having a lot of pain. He was so thorough in reviewing my injury and MRI. He also consulted with an associate after my initial appointment. He got me scheduled for surgery right away. As soon as he performed the surgery, the tendon pain ceased. He is a very patient, kind doctor. He was wonderful!
