He is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon with a concentration in arthroscopic surgery of the hip, knee, shoulder and elbow, as well as shoulder and knee replacements. Dr. King has treated members of the Boston Red Sox, the Pawtucket Red Sox (AAA), the Italian national soccer team, the Premier League (soccer), Division I, II, and III collegiate teams in all sports, as well as multiple high school teams. Dr. King's friendly, calm demeanor and willingness to answer all my questions definitely reassured me and lessoned my anxiety regarding the surgery beforehand. I am so happy with the result. Four months out, I have full mobility with zero pain. UPDATE: It's now 16 months out and stronger than ever. I workout 4+ times/week and play 9 holes of golf weekly with no restrictions. BTW, I'm 77 years old and what was previously debilitating is a now a non-issue. Update May 2026. Now pushing 80 and the shoulder is probably the only body part totally pain-free. Seeing Dr. King for one of my knees and have trust those issues will soon resolve. Continue to highly recommend Dr. Scott King and his team at OSS Health.
