Specialties
Meet Dr. Scott King
I received my medical degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed residency training in orthopaedic surgery at Memorial Hospital in York, PA. I also completed a fellowship in sports medicine and arthroscopy at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center in Worcester, Massachusetts. I have been practicing orthopaedics since 2010. Previously, I served in the Navy as an orthopaedic surgeon at the Robert E. Bush Naval Hospital. There I served as Director of the Department of General and Orthopaedic Surgery. I am a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon and treat all general orthopaedic problems, sports and non-sports related, with a concentration in arthroscopy surgery of the hip, knee and shoulder, as well as robotic assisted knee replacements.
I have a particular interest in the study and treatment of athletic injuries in patients of all ages and levels of
play. I have personally treated members of the Boston Red Sox, the Pawtucket Red Sox (AAA), Italian national soccer team, Premier League (soccer), Division I, II, and III collegiate teams in all sports, as well as multiple high school teams.
In my leisure time, I enjoy spending time with my wife and four children.
