Dr. Todd Curran
Todd Curran, D.O. provides care for all types of orthopaedic problems. Dr. Curran, a native of York, received his medical degree from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. Following a surgical internship at the Naval Medical Center in Portsmouth, Virginia, Dr. Curran served as the Medical Department Head aboard United States Navy Ship Ponce during which he earned the Surface Warfare Medical Officer insignia and was awarded the Navy Commendation Medal.
He completed his residency in orthopaedic surgery at Naval Medical Center Portsmouth in 2003 and was subsequently appointed to the medical staff at Naval Hospital in Jacksonville, Florida. During his tenure in Jacksonville, he deployed to Djibouti, Africa, in support of Operation Enduring Freedom and was awarded the Global War on Terrorism Service and Expeditionary Medals. Dr. Curran was honorably discharged from the Navy as a Lieutenant Commander in 2007.
In 2005, Dr. Curran was board certified in orthopaedic surgery with recertification in 2015 and was accepted as a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgery in 2017. In addition, he provides team coverage to local area high schools.

Met Dr. Curran via OSS Urgent Care on Sunday. Took my dad in for right knee pain #8 out of a 1-10. Dr. Curran said he needs T.K.R.. Will have his nurse call us on Monday, well, here it is Tuesday and still no call. We liked him but am not too pleased with the staff not calling. My dad is 83y/o and saidhe is about to say forget it and go elsewhere if someone doe not call him. I just called the office and his secretry isn't available so I told the person on the phone that we need to get a call today. Hopefully someone will call us as promised.

dr. Curran is a genius! Because of his skill and attention to detail I am pain free for the first time in 5 months. I am 9 days post-op and FEELING GREAT! I saw the other prominent ortho group in Hanover and got the impression they don't like to treat us old folks. they never got the diagnosis right. dr. Curran dx'd me in 10 minutes. I had multiple tears in my rotator cuff + he removed bone spurs and arthritis from my right shoulder. I love this guy! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!
