Dr. Todd Curran
Todd Curran, D.O. provides care for all types of orthopaedic problems. Dr. Curran, a native of York, received his medical degree from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. Following a surgical internship at the Naval Medical Center in Portsmouth, Virginia, Dr. Curran served as the Medical Department Head aboard United States Navy Ship Ponce during which he earned the Surface Warfare Medical Officer insignia and was awarded the Navy Commendation Medal.
He completed his residency in orthopaedic surgery at Naval Medical Center Portsmouth in 2003 and was subsequently appointed to the medical staff at Naval Hospital in Jacksonville, Florida. During his tenure in Jacksonville, he deployed to Djibouti, Africa, in support of Operation Enduring Freedom and was awarded the Global War on Terrorism Service and Expeditionary Medals. Dr. Curran was honorably discharged from the Navy as a Lieutenant Commander in 2007.
In 2005, Dr. Curran was board certified in orthopaedic surgery with recertification in 2015 and was accepted as a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgery in 2017. In addition, he provides team coverage to local area high schools.

I arrive early for my appointment. I had pre-registered so I made myself known at the kiosk and was immediately called up to sign the HIPPA paper. Before I could sit, I was called back to see. Dr. Curran. I was given a pair of shorts. After putting the shorts on, I was taken for X-rays. Once back in the exam room Dr Curran spoke saying all was well according to the X-rays and my walking gait. I have no pain and go back in 2 years. I was in and out in 30 minutes. Very efficient.

Everyone at the urgent Care was very nice and professional from check-in to check-in out. It was my first time being treated by Dr Curran and appreciate the care, understanding and treatment he gave me to ease my pain. I would highly recommend Dr Curran to anyone with any type of joint pain.

I’ve had two procedures with Dr Curran. This will be my third. He’s simply awesome! He explains everything in a way that relieves any anxiety and his whole team makes the process uncomplicated.
