Dr. Varun Sambhariya
Dr. Sambhariya earned his bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences at the University of Southern California. He then completed his medical training at UT Southwestern and John Peter Smith Hospital in Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas. Following this, Dr. Sambhariya graduated from a surgical spine fellowship at the University of Washington / Harborview Medical Center and trained in the latest techniques in spine surgery.
Dr. Sambhariya has special interest in degenerative spine disease, complex spine deformity, motion-preserving spine surgery and minimally invasive techniques. He treats a variety of spine pathology from the skull to the sacrum. From nonoperative treatment to surgical solutions, he creates a patient specific approach using the techniques that best fit his patient’s spine conditions and needs. Dr. Sambhariya's aim is to help patients return to a healthy and active way of life.
In his leisure time, he enjoys traveling, camping, and spending time with my family and friends.

Dr. Sambhariya met with me about 4 weeks after a fall which caused back pain and severe knee pain and loss of control. My lower back has been a source of pain over the years and other doctors had predicted I would need surgery as I grew older. He explained what was going on and suggested surgery after going through some PT and a lower back injection which did not help. Surgery was done UMPC hospital which was exceptional. My last appointment was two weeks ago and my back is perfect and my knee is back 90%. I am very happy with the professionalism of everyone at OSS, UMPC, and LHM Physical Therapy.
