Specialties
Meet Dr. Alexander Kish
I received my undergraduate degree in Biology from King’s College in Wilkes-Barre, PA and my medical degree from Penn State College of Medicine where I was a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. I completed a residency in Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of Maryland Medical Center and R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore, MD.
After residency I completed a fellowship in Hand/Microvascular/Upper Extremity Surgery at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. This extra year of training afforded me the opportunity to hone my skills in the surgical and non-surgical treatment options for various conditions of the arm and hand. I especially enjoy challenging upper extremity pathology and have great interest in management of complex fractures, nerve and tendon injuries, as well as the treatment of arthritis in the shoulder, elbow, wrist, and fingers.
In my leisure time, I enjoy mountain biking, running, fly fishing, and spending time with my wonderful family.
