Dr. Sania Mahmood
Dr. Mahmood went to University of Maryland, College Park for her undergraduate degree, and medical school at Drexel University in Philadelphia. She completed a year of general surgery at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia before completing her residency in Orthopaedic Surgery at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation in Cleveland, Ohio. Dr. Mahmood finished her last year of training in Joint Arthroplasty at Emory University.

If every Doctor only gave 50% of what Dr Mahmood provides to her patients with regards to expert technical skills, her compassion towards patients and her honest communication with regards to the expected outcome of surgery. I believe our medical system wouldn’t be the disaster it currently is.

It has been 1 year almost to the day since Dr Mahmood replaced my hip. She rates more than 5 stars in my world! She takes the time to answer every question you have and doesn’t hurry out at the end of an appointment. Both she and her team are always available by portal or phone and respond promptly. Dr Mahmood came in to pre-op to see me before surgery then to my room soon after surgery. She was present at every appointment… never sent an assistant in her place. It’s as if she always has an eye out for her patients. Dr. Mahmood you are tops in my world and I highly recommend you as an orthopedic surgeon! I had no trouble recovering and adjusting to my new hip. I am now able to return to my very active lifestyle. If you choose Dr. Mahmood to perform your surgery you will be blessed! Even the care I received during one overnight stay was exceptional. We are fortunate to have the OSS doctors and hospital here in York Pa!
