Dr. Sania Mahmood
Dr. Mahmood went to University of Maryland, College Park for her undergraduate degree, and medical school at Drexel University in Philadelphia. She completed a year of general surgery at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia before completing her residency in Orthopaedic Surgery at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation in Cleveland, Ohio. Dr. Mahmood finished her last year of training in Joint Arthroplasty at Emory University.

Dr. Mahmood is very knowledgeable and provides patient- care/communication. The main thing I like about her is that if you don’t need surgery or surgery is absolutely the last need she will try her best to find alternatives to assist you with pain management before a decision about surgery is made. She is very thorough and is very confident in any diagnosis that she makes.
